With a wide variety of skills and interests, Brad likes to explore and encourage each student's individual learning path through fun and engaging teaching techniques. Katrina is qualified High School Music Teacher with Bachelor of Music and a Diploma of Education as well as a professional vocal and piano music teacher. Specialising in pitch accuracy, breath control and mouth/tongue placement, Katrina is a big believer in singers evolving their own vocal style whilst working to ensure the longevity of their voice. Katrina's experience makes her an ideal teacher for HSC preparation in either Performance or Musicology electives.

A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the renowned Talent Development Project, she brings a contemporary approach to music education while drawing on a solid classical foundation. She has trained with leading Australian industry professionals and performed in large-scale productions in the Qudos Bank Arena, such as the Schools Spectacular, broadcasted on the Seven Network. Amélie teaches a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, and musical theatre, with a teaching approach grounded in strong technical foundations that nurture creativity and confidence.
Beyond teaching, Amélie is an accomplished songwriter and producer with original music released under the artist name Am Élie, on all major streaming platforms.

She has also earned a high distinction within AMEB Rockschool Grade 8. Polina started her early music career classically trained in vocals and piano, but now has progressed to more contemporary styles such as pop, rock, jazz and R&B. Polina also does quite a bit of songwriting and music production under the name ‘Lina Kova’ and performs with her band whenever she can. She holds a degree in Classical Music Performance with a focus on harp and Music Pedagogy from The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Having also completed an exchange program at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the United Kingdom, Justina brings a diverse musical background. Playing the harp for over 13 years, complemented by over 12 years of piano experience, Justina's musical journey spans many performances and recordings either solo, in a chamber ensemble, or with professional and amateur symphony orchestras internationally in Lithuania, across Europe, and in Australia. A standout moment in her career was recording a CD with a renowned Lithuanian singer and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, following a tour in major Lithuanian arenas. As a certified teacher, Justina is trained to adapt individual teaching methods to cater to each student's needs and goals. Whether in a professional or amateur environment, she is very patient and loves witnessing her students grow, develop, and find joy in playing music. A lovely addition to our music school.

Her teaching style is friendly and student-led, with a strong focus on vocal health, creative expression, and treating each student as a true artist in their own right. She’s passionate about fuelling her students’ love for music, often seeing herself in students who find their spark through creativity and self-expression.

With over 25 years’ experience as a full-time vocalist or French Horn player in a everything from opera to rock vocals to full orchestras, Kent is incredibly excited to share his passion for music and vast musical knowledge with you at Ignite Music. After a career at Opera Australia that included over 3000 performances at the Sydney Opera House, Kent has broadened his professional focus in returning to where his pro singing career began 30 years ago: in contemporary vocal gigs in pop and jazz. Kent holds 3 degrees in music including a Master of Music (Performance Voice) at the ANU. His new focus in life is educating and inspiring the next generation of musicians in a fun and engaging way that also focuses on building strong musical ability. His recent professional development includes a huge number of courses and seminars on cutting edge contemporary vocal technique and pedagogy. He is currently enrolled in the Estill Master Trainer course with contemporary vocal legend Naomi Eyers and later this year will attend the amazing Somatic Voicework courses 2 and 3 in the US, focusing on pop and music theatre.
