Brad Ferreira is the director of Ignite Music Dural. He has been playing music for 20 years and teaching for the last 14. After completing his Bachelor of Contemporary Music at the Australian Institute of Music, Brad has focused his time on teaching and business development at Ignite Music Dural. With a wide variety of skills and interests, Brad likes to explore and encourage each student's individual learning path through fun and engaging teaching techniques. "I believe music is about having fun and that means something different to each and every one of my students. I am here to explore, encourage, and guide my students within their unique interests, aspirations, learning styles, and abilities. She has an undergraduate degree in music, a postgraduate degree in education and seventeen years experience tutoring violin and piano to children and adults of all ages. Christi is kind and patient, making her the perfect match for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Katrina was lead singer for many years in a Rock band playing pubs & clubs all over NSW, and as vocal lead in an 18-piece Big Band Jazz ensemble. Katrina was lead singer for many years in a Rock band playing pubs & clubs all over NSW, and as vocal lead in an 18-piece Big Band Jazz ensemble. She also appeared on morning Television, singing with the morning show house band. Katrina has experience with choirs and vocal ensembles for both adults and children. Katrina is qualified High School Music Teacher with Bachelor of Music and a Diploma of Education as well as a professional vocal and piano music teacher. Specialising in pitch accuracy, breath control and mouth/tongue placement, Katrina is a big believer in singers evolving their own vocal style whilst working to ensure the longevity of their voice. Katrina's experience makes her an ideal teacher for HSC preparation in either Performance or Musicology electives.

Specialising in singing, acting and dancing, she enjoys teaching at Ignite Music working with students of all ages and abilities by encouraging confidence in themselves while performing. When she’s not working at Ignite Music Dural, Haley is a children’s entertainer playing various princesses and other characters. This job sharpens her ability to captivate large groups when teaching musical theatre during the term and in holiday programs.

She graduated from University of Sydney / Conservatorium of Music studying bachelor of Music, majoring in contemporary music practice. She graduated from University of Sydney / Conservatorium of Music studying bachelor of Music, majoring in contemporary music practice. She has also earned a high distinction within AMEB Rockschool Grade 8. Polina started her early music career classically trained in vocals and piano, but now has progressed to more contemporary styles such as pop, rock, jazz and R&B. Polina also does quite a bit of songwriting and music production under the name ‘Lina Kova’ and performs with her band whenever she can. She holds a degree in Classical Music Performance with a focus on harp and Music Pedagogy from The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Having also completed an exchange program at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the United Kingdom, Justina brings a diverse musical background. Playing the harp for over 13 years, complemented by over 12 years of piano experience, Justina's musical journey spans many performances and recordings either solo, in a chamber ensemble, or with professional and amateur symphony orchestras internationally in Lithuania, across Europe, and in Australia. A standout moment in her career was recording a CD with a renowned Lithuanian singer and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, following a tour in major Lithuanian arenas. As a certified teacher, Justina is trained to adapt individual teaching methods to cater to each student's needs and goals. Whether in a professional or amateur environment, she is very patient and loves witnessing her students grow, develop, and find joy in playing music. A lovely addition to our music school.

Marianne discovered her passion for music at a young age, actively competing in singing at the Eisteddfods from the age of 9 and achieving top placements in contemporary, musical theatre, and ballad categories. She achieved the top rank in HSC Music (Vocal Performance) at Hornsby Girls High School during her Year 12. She has expanded her expertise through the Voice Technique & Musicianship courses at Berklee College of Music Online (Boston, US), blending extensive experience with ongoing learning. Marianne’s journey with the piano also began early, leading her to pursue AMEB examinations and eventually become a scholar pianist for a church in Asquith, NSW. Marianne has served as a pianist/singer in several worship bands and a worship leader for retreats. Additionally, Marianne holds two psychology degrees, which enrich her teaching approach by allowing her to understand and address the unique needs of each student. Her experiences have shaped her into a dedicated and versatile music educator, committed to nurturing musical talent and sharing her love for piano and singing with her students.

She has participated in multiple orchestra events in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam where she was able to collaborate with many passionate musicians of different nationalities to perform together. Back in high school in Malaysia, she led the school's orchestra as concertmaster and was also a violinist for the Selangor Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. With over 25 years’ experience as a full-time vocalist or French Horn player in a everything from opera to rock vocals to full orchestras, Kent is incredibly excited to share his passion for music and vast musical knowledge with you at Ignite Music. After a career at Opera Australia that included over 3000 performances at the Sydney Opera House, Kent has broadened his professional focus in returning to where his pro singing career began 30 years ago: in contemporary vocal gigs in pop and jazz. Kent holds 3 degrees in music including a Master of Music (Performance Voice) at the ANU. His new focus in life is educating and inspiring the next generation of musicians in a fun and engaging way that also focuses on building strong musical ability. His recent professional development includes a huge number of courses and seminars on cutting edge contemporary vocal technique and pedagogy. He is currently enrolled in the Estill Master Trainer course with contemporary vocal legend Naomi Eyers and later this year will attend the amazing Somatic Voicework courses 2 and 3 in the US, focusing on pop and music theatre.

Miki also plays a big role behind the scenes, helping to organise and plan some of our biggest events — from student concerts and Christmas carols to Epic holiday programs, Halloween weeks, studio competitions, socials, charity drives, and so much more. She keeps the wheels turning and the vibe high!
